As the third member of this team, you’ll be a partner in up-leveling the role of design at NoRedInk by assuming the highest level of ownership over our design system, direction, and processes. The design team itself is small but mighty, currently consisting of two other product designers. More specifically, the product designer is responsible for owning the end-to-end design strategy and solutions for each of their product areas by using design thinking, creative problem solving, and visual design craft to deliver meaningful experiences for our students, teachers, and administrators. All of our product designers are “generalists,” meaning that they drive research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and everything in between.ĭesign at NoRedInk sits within the larger product team, consisting of product managers and product designers.
